![]() Highquality photogrammetry models and textures of burned and dead trees, rocks, debris and more. These are the settings made to control a lot of the aspects. The second is the Gaps section and the third one is the Flow Animation section. Full procedural forest generation or painting. In this image you can see the tree mayor animation sections for paint effects, the first one is the Behavior sections, which will have the subsections of displacement, forces, turbulence, spiral, and bend. Not even sure if what I'm trying to do (have trees in an Arnold render) is even possible. Complete biome solution to build a photorealistic burned dead forest. ![]() I can get a realistically lit scene with Skydome lighting, but the trees all look like collections of small rectangles. I can have trees in Maya Software renders, but cannot have a Skydome light, which is an Arnold feature. It seems as though many effects are mutually exclusive in Maya. Is it possible to restore the former look of these objects, so they render looking like trees (as was the case with Maya Software render), and have I used the wrong procedure to do the conversion and thus lost all of the attributes of the tree objects? It appears as a black and white or grayscale collection of rectangles attached to branches. I've done that, and the "object" appears, but looks nothing like the tree it appeared as in a Maya render. What I read is that to make them render in Arnold, they need to be converted to polygons. I realize that Paint Effects are a post processed effect in Maya Software renders, so they apparently don't render in Arnold.
